Barcelona star Neymar might be on the move this summer and the speculated destination for the Brazilian star might be the Theatre of Dreams.
As the rumours are catching the wind, the Catalan giants are already looking for the forward’s replacement. A number of potential players from the English, French and Italian leagues are already on their radar.
Neymar has made a name for himself while playing alongside arguably the best player in the world Lionel Messi and Uruguayan marksman Luis Suarez.
But of late, there seems to be some problem creeping up between the Argentine skipper and the Brazilian playmaker, which has left Lionel Messi unhappy. Despite being instrumental in the 6-1 victory against Paris Saint-Germain in Barcelona’s penultimate encounter, Neymar is said to have been facing a fairly difficult season at Barcelona.
Along with Manchester United, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are also showing interest to rope in the Brazilian captain this summer.
Meanwhile, Barcelona are looking for prospective replacements for Neymar. Dybala, Kylian Mbappe and Marco Verratti are some of the players the Catalan Giants have their eyes fixed on, in case the mercurial Brazilian leaves Nou Camp when the transfer window opens this summer.
Barcelona have looked stagnant lately and a change in personnel is the need of the hour.
Fellow Brazilian Phillipe Coutinho has also rumoured to have been linked with a potential move to Nou Camp this summer. The talismanic Liverpool forward can be the perfect replacement for his countryman Neymar.
Coutinho, along with Marco Verratti, are considered ideal to share the pressure of the Barcelona midfield with the Andres Iniesta, who will be turning 33 this year.
It goes without saying that whichever club buys the mercurial Brazilian forward, will have to cough up a tremendous amount of money in order to acquire his service.
Barcelona might use this money to bring in a forward in place of Neymar along with a good defensive option to give their backline a much-needed boost.
This looks much of a priority for Luis Enrique’s side after their 3-0 thrashing at the hands of Juventus in their last Champions League game. It is speculated that Barcelona might look to launch a bid for Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin in order to end their defensive woes.
Neymar was linked with a move to Old Trafford last summer as well. However, it was dismissed as a ranked rumour, with the Brazilian showing no immediate interest to leave Nou Camp at that time.
