Tottenham steamrolled Watford 4-0 in what ended up being a one-sided encounter at the White Hart lane. Dele Alli and Eric Dier got one goal each while Heung-Min Son got two and was perhaps unlucky to miss out on a hat-trick.
Tottenham kept the pressure on Chelsea who defeated Bournemouth. Watford initially played some good football in the first 25 minutes after winning two on the bounce before this but were completely outdone after that. Below are Tottenham’s player ratings in their win against Watford:
Hugo Lloris:

The Frenchman had little to do between the sticks but did well whenever called upon. He made two decent saves from distant Watford shots and also came out early on numerous occasions to help relieve Tottenham of the pressure.
Kieran Trippier:

Trippier had an excellent game again and got some outstanding crosses but Janssen and Kane failed to make the most of.
Toby Alderweireld:

Alderweireld did a decent job at the back along with his Belgian partner Jan Vertonghen, dealing really well with Watford’s physical nature.
Jan Vertonghen:

Vertonghen too had a really good game, making some vital aerial interceptions while defending Watford’s set-pieces.
Ben Davies:

Ben Davies struggled a bit initially but grew really well into the game. His offensive influence could be improved upon.
Eric Dier:

Dier’s return to midfield has resulted in him scoring two important goals for Tottenham in three games. His defensive work was good too.
Moussa Dembele:

Dembele did what he does best, dictate the tempo of the game and help in offensive ball retention for a longer duration.
Dele Alli:

Alli scored an amazing goal to give Tottenham the lead and his influence grew further as the game progressed, switching positions with the attacking midfielders to make life hard for Watford defenders.
Christian Eriksen:
Rating:8
Eriksen made some good turns and played some really intricate passes with his fellow attacking midfielders.
Heung-Min Son:
Rating:8.5
Son scored twice and assisted once and was unlucky to have missed out on a hat-trick, hitting the crossbar towards the end.
Vincent Janssen:

Janssen was quite underwhelming and missed two really good opportunities to score.

Harry Kane:

Kane came on in the 58th minute for Vincent Janssen and played some good football. He hit the crossbar from a free kick in the last few second of the game.
Moussa Sissoko:

Sissoko made some decent offensive runs towards the end of the game.

Onomah played too little to warrant a rating.
