West Ham United will try to collect all three points when they visit the Vitality Stadium on Friday in a bid to improve their current standing. The Hammers have put in some decent performances in the last few matches but have been inconsistent in front of the goal. They failed to stop the winning run of Chelsea in the last match as they were blunt in their approach play against the West London side. But Bilic would be keen to get back to winning ways against the Cherries.
A win in this match will help them in their quest to finish in the top half of the table. The Hammers will be boosted by the return of Michail Antonio who missed the last game due to a suspension. Antonio has been one of the most consistent players for them. Andy Carroll, Robert Snodgrass and Jose Fonte are expected to start as Bilic will name a strong starting lineup.
Bournemouth are winless in their last 8 matches and despite a hard-fought draw against Manchester United in their last game, they need to clock up 3 points as soon as possible
Scoring goals has been one of the problems for West Ham this season and they need to rectify it. Carroll has shown promise but has failed to replicate his form. Robert Snodgrass has also failed to reach his potential since his transfer from Hull City.
PREDICTED WEST HAM UNITED LINE-UP VS BOURNEMOUTH (4-2-3-1)
Defence
Darren Randolph will keep his position between the sticks. The Ireland international has been very good and will like to continue his form.
Aaron Cresswell will start at left-back and will look to boss his flank.
Jose Fonte and Winston Reid will once again pair up in central defence. Fonte has put in a decent shift so far while Reid has been a mainstay in their backline. They are expected to recover from slight knocks.
Kouyate should start at right back.
Midfield
Pedro Obiang and Mark Noble will try to conquer the midfield battle. Noble was at fault for Chelsea’s first goal and will have to avoid any sort of a repeat against the Cherries.
Robert Snodgrass will hold the No. 10 position. The Scotland international has to start firing now and make an impact.
Attack
Bilic will deploy Manuel Lanzini on the left flank. The 24-year-old has the intent and the guile to cause problems for the opposition. On the other flank, it will be Sofiane Feghouli who will be lining up.
Andy Carroll will continue upfront and will try to dominate the Bournemouth defence.
