Despite winning the match against West Ham United, Antonio Conte believes it will not be an easy path for them. Chelsea edged a step closer to the Premier League title as they defeated West Ham United 2-1 at the London Stadium.
Eden Hazard and Diego Costa were on target as the visitors tormented their London rivals. Manuel Lanzini tried to inject life by scoring a late goal but couldn’t save his team from a defeat. The win puts Chelsea on 66 points, 10 points adrift from second placed Tottenham Hotspur. Manchester City could cut back the gap to eight points if they defeat Stoke City.
Conte said,
“I think this league it will be very tough until the end.”
“I listen to the other coaches on the other teams and they trust (players) to win and it is right to have this ambition.
“It is important for us to know that they have this ambition, to keep this hunger, this will to fight.”
