As per latest news on the block, Tottenham Hotspur have again reignited their interest in Inter Milan’s young sensation Andrea Pinamonti with the player’s agent reportedly holding showdown talks with the Italian side about his future. The 17-year-old has been touted as the next big thing by the youth coaches and he has already made his Serie A debut.
With Harry Kane in red-hot form at the moment, Tottenham’s scoring problems are temporarily absent. And the disastrous buy of Victor Janssen, which irked the manager hugely in the early parts of the season, has stopped inflicting suffering on Mauricio Pochettino for the moment.
With 19 goals in 22 outings, this has definitely been the English forward’s best season in a raft of impressive seasons and Janssen will have to match the high standards of the position in the little time he gets until the end of the season. And Pochettino’s interest in the Italian striker surely stems from this uncertainty. Tottenham have reportedly been alerted to the striker’s talents and as a result, Inter have started working on a new contract for the teenager.
The Serie A giants are ready to offer Pinamonti a five-year deal and, with teenagers generally not preferring a move out of their homeland at such a nascent stage, Pinamonti’s agent will now meet with the club to thrash out terms this week.

Pinamonti has played 36 matches for Inter Milan Primavera and has scored 22 times for the side. In his 16 appearances in the Campionato Primavera Girone C, he has scored 15 times so far garnering attention from all across the Europe. A current Italy U-19 international, Pinamonti is a centre-forward by nature and could just be the ideal target man Pochettino is so desperately looking for to ease the burden up front for Kane.
After impressing hugely in Italy’s under-17, where he netted seven goals in 15 appearances, the youngster got a chance to debut for the Italy under-19 last August in 2016.
And according to reports, the players is intrigued by the North-London club’s efforts to sign him, although he wants to test Inter’s resolve first. Consequently. Pinamonti’s agent will hold talks in the coming days before assessing any other options.
