Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has expressed his concerns over his future after the 3-1 defeat against Leicester City. This is Liverpool’s sixth defeat in 2017 and third in the Premier League.
Liverpool who were once regarded as one of the brightest contenders of the Premier League now are 14 points adrift of League leaders Chelsea. The Reds are only one point clear of sixth-placed Manchester United who also have a game in hand.
Leicester recently parted ways with their manager Claudio Ranieri but that couldn’t stop them from giving a taste of defeat to the Merseyside club who have been particularly against the smallest clubs.
Klopp said, “It’s getting more serious now.
“We all play for our future, myself included.
“We get judged every day, especially on match days. Of course performances have influence on these things.
“I feel maximum responsible because I am. I hope I use the word ‘we’ and not ‘they’ because I’m involved in this.”
