Real Madrid welcomed Athletic Bilbao at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure maximum points at home in La Liga. Gorka Guruzeta got a goal back for the visitors in the 45th minute as Alvaro Arbeloa’s men went into the half-time break 2-1 up on the scoreline.
Kylian Mbappe scored his side’s third goal in the 50th minute before Brahim Diaz got his name on the scoresheet as well in the 87th minute. Urko Izeta got a goal back for Bilbao soon after as Real Madrid cruised to an impressive 4-2 win at the Bernabeu.
