Longstaff And Nmecha To Start | 3-5-2 Leeds United Predicted Lineup Vs West Ham United

Leeds United will face off against West Ham United at the London Stadium on Sunday as they look to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Whites managed to earn a narrow 1-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion recently, so they would be full of confidence going into this game.

Daniel Farke will set his side up in a 3-5-2 formation and is expected to make some changes to his first team for this clash. Both Sean Longstaff and Lukas Nmecha could play from the start of this game.

Defence

Karl Darlow will feature in between the sticks for the Whites after he kept a clean sheet in his last appearance. Farke could opt for a back three of Joe Rodon, Jaka Bijol and Sebastiaan Bornauw as they look to keep the opposition at bay during the 90 minutes.

Sam Byram will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Ao Tanaka, Ethan Ampadu and Sean Longstaff will operate as Leeds‘ central midfielders. Their main job would be to make life difficult for the home team at the centre of the park and engineer some decent chances in the final third.

James Justin will try to catch the eye on the left flank, while Daniel James looks to prove his value as the right-sided wide player. Both of them will have to make some decent runs in behind the West Ham backline.

Anton Stach is unlikely to recover in time for this game. However, Wilfried Gnonto will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Lukas Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin will lead the line for the West Yorkshire club up top. Both of them would have to find a way to be a constant menace in and around the West Ham penalty area.

Joel Piroe will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to shine in the latter stages of the game if the Whites are in need of a goal by then. However, Brenden Aaronson will be in a race against time to be fit for this game.
