Antonio Conte has admitted Carlo Cudicini is helping him a lot with his antics on and off the field. The Italian left the managerial job of the Italian national team to try his luck in England and was appointed as the manager of Chelsea.
Cudicini, who is an Ex-Chelsea keeper, was brought in as a member of the support staff. Cudicini who also happens to be an Italian has been Conte’s teacher to improve his English since his arrival. This is the 47-year-old’s first stint outside Italy who managed a number of Italian clubs with the likes of Juventus and Atalanta.
Conte led Chelsea to the top of the table and the West London giants are well-placed for their sixth Premier League title. Conte revealed Cudicini, who has won two FA Cups with the English outfit, is his teacher.
“Honestly Carlo is helping me a lot. He is staying with me a lot of time in my day.
“He is also my teacher in English. After every press conference or interview, he always tries to tell me the mistakes to correct.
Then sometimes to explain the situation in the right way, or with the players, with the club. He is helping me a lot and he’s a really good guy. He’s a really good professional.”
