Anthony Martial has played down talks linking him with an exit from Manchester United. Martial became the most expensive teenager when he signed from Monaco in 2015.
Martial was very quick to adapt to Premier League and put in stellar performances in his debut season for the Red Devils, netting 20 goals and setting up another 16. But this year it has been not the same. The French teenager failed to maintain his debut season’s form.
But he has found his form of late as Jose Mourinho decided to include him in the starting lineup for three consecutive games. He is expected to be in the starting lineup when United will face St. Etienne in a bid to move to the last 16 of the Europa League.
Martial revealed he wants to stay at the club for as many years as possible, “I love Manchester, I love the club and I love the fans.
“(The fans) give me a lot of joy and I really enjoy having them backing me.
“I try to be as good as possible to make them happy, to satisfy them, so what I just want is to stay as long as possible at this club.”
