Liverpool will entertain Galatasaray at Anfield this Wednesday night as they look to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg of their UEFA Champions League last 16 tie. The Reds were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by Tottenham Hotspur recently, so they would be keen on putting in a much-improved performance versus the Turkish club in midweek.
Arne Slot will set his players up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a few changes to his first team for this clash. Curtis Jones, Ibrahima Konate and Milos Kerkez could all play from the start of this game.
4-2-3-1 Liverpool Predicted Lineup To Face Galatasaray
Defence
Alisson Becker will function in goal for the Reds after conceding one goal in his last appearance. Ibrahima Konate will resume his partnership with Virgil Van Dijk at the centre of the Liverpool backline as they look to keep the opposition at bay during the game.
Joe Gomez could get the nod to play as the right-back, while Milos Kerkez looks to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Andy Robertson and Jeremie Frimpong will offer cover for the full-back positions on the bench.

Midfield
Curtis Jones and Ryan Gravenberch will probably get a chance to anchor the midfield for the Reds as they look to establish their dominance over the opposition at the centre of the park.
The talented trio of Florian Wirtz, Dominik Szoboszlai and Mohamed Salah will play just ahead of them as part of Slot’s attack. All three of them need to move the ball well if they are to create enough chances for Liverpool to secure a convincing win this Wednesday night.
Alexis Mac Allister and Rio Ngumoha will have to settle for a place on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if needed.
Attack
Hugo Ekitike will lead the charge for the Merseyside club up top. He has to find a way to be a constant menace in the final third.
Federico Valverde will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter if required.
