Liverpool welcomed Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield earlier this evening as they looked to earn a good result at home in the Premier League. The Reds made a decent start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 18th minute thanks to Dominik Szoboszlai’s great free-kick. The Merseyside club went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Richarlison ended up rescuing a point for Spurs in the 90th minute as Arne Slot’s men had to settle for a lackluster 1-1 draw at Anfield.
Let’s take a look at how each Liverpool player fared during the clash against Spurs.
GK: Alisson Becker – 7.5/10
He made his fair share of saves during the game, but would be disappointed after conceding the equaliser late in the game.
RB: Dominik Szoboszlai – 7/10
Szoboszlai was caught out of position at times defensively, but managed to score the opener with a brilliant free-kick.
CB: Joe Gomez – 6.5/10
He mopped up the danger when he could, but was far from convincing on the defensive end of the field.
CB: Virgil Van Dijk – 7/10
Van Dijk cleared his lines when needed and was good on the ball.

LB: Andy Robertson – 5.5/10
He made a costly error at the back, which led to Richarlison’s equaliser. Robertson offered very little going forward.
CM: Ryan Gravenberch – 7.5/10
Gravenberch anchored the midfield well and made two decent runs with the ball.
CM: Alexis Mac Allister – 6.5/10
He caught the eye at times on both halves but failed to make a difference in the final third.
RW: Jeremie Frimpong – 7/10
Frimpong used his pace well at times, but has got nothing to show for his efforts.
CAM: Florian Wirtz – 6.5/10
He engineered a few inviting chances for others around him, but should have been more selfish in front of goal.
LW: Rio Ngumoha – 7.5/10
Ngumoha made a lot of dangerous runs with the ball but struggled to find the cutting edge in the final third.
ST: Cody Gakpo – 6.5/10
He had a few strikes at goal but failed to get his name on the scoresheet.
Substitutes:
RW: Mohamed Salah – 6.5/10
He was a real threat on the right flank.
ST: Hugo Ekitike – 6/10
Ekitike had some lively moments in the final third.
CM: Curtis Jones – 6/10
His impact on the game was minimal.
CM: Trey Nyoni – N/A
ST: Federico Chiesa – N/A
