Gordon To Lead The Line | 4-3-3 Newcastle United Predicted Lineup Vs Everton

Newcastle United will entertain Everton at St. James’ Park this Saturday as they look to earn all three points at home in the Premier League. The Magpies managed to earn a 3-2 win over Qarabag recently, which should keep them in good spirits going into this game.

Eddie Howe will set his players up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make a lot of changes to his first team for this clash. Anthony Gordon will once again lead the charge for the Tyneside club up top.

Defence

Nick Pope will function in between the sticks for the Magpies after being rested in midweek. Malick Thiaw will play alongside Dan Burn at the heart of the Newcastle backline as they focus on keeping a solid shape on the defensive end of the field.

Kieran Trippier will try to prove his worth as the right-back, while Lewis Hall looks to impress on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Sven Botman will offer cover for the centre-back positions on the bench.

Midfield

Joelinton, Sandro Tonali and Jacob Ramsey will make up Howe’s midfield. Their main job would be to move the ball well at the centre of the park and engineer some clear-cut chances in the final third.

Joe Willock will have to be content with a spot on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Harvey Barnes will try to prove his value on the left flank, while Anthony Elanga looks to impress as the right-winger. Both of them will try to get in behind the opponent’s backline at every chance they can get.

Anthony Gordon will spearhead Newcastle’s attack down the middle. He has to figure out a way to be a real menace up top.

Yoane Wissa will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter if the Magpies are in need of a goal by then.
