Will Farke Make Any Changes? | 5-3-2 Leeds United Predicted Lineup Vs Chelsea

Leeds United will lock horns with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this Tuesday night as they look to grind out a result on the road in the Premier League. The Whites managed to secure an impressive 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest recently, so they will be eager to keep their good form going in the league.

Daniel Farke will opt for the 5-3-2 formation and could name an unchanged first team for this clash. Thus, Noah Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin will lead the charge for the Whites once again up top.

5-3-2 Leeds United Predicted Lineup To Face Chelsea

Defence

Karl Darlow will feature in between the sticks for the Whites after he conceded one goal in his last league outing. Pascal Struijk, Joe Rodon and James Justin will operate as Leeds‘ centre-backs as they look to keep the opposition attackers frustrated during the game.

Jayden Bogle will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Gabriel Gudmundsson looks to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Jaka Bijol and Sebastiaan Bornauw will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Brenden Aaronson, Etham Ampadu and Ilia Gruev will function as Farke’s central midfielders. Their main job would be to make life tough for the home team at the centre of the park and play some decisive passes for their teammates up top.

Sean Longstaff will be named on the bench as he waits for his opportunity to impress in the second 45 minutes if required. However, Anton Stach is unlikely to recover in time for this clash.

Attack

Noah Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin will lead the charge for the West Yorkshire club in the final third after the pair scored a goal each versus Nottingham recently. Both of them will have to combine well on the offensive end of the field if they are to cause some headaches for the Chelsea defenders on the counter.

Joel Piroe and Daniel James will make up the numbers on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter if the Whites are in need of a goal by then.
