Garnacho To Start, Neto On The Bench | 4-2-3-1 Chelsea Predicted Lineup Vs Napoli

Chelsea will clash heads with Napoli in the UEFA Champions League this Wednesday night as they look to secure a win on the road. The Blues managed to earn an impressive 3-1 victory away at Crystal Palace recently, so they would fancy their chances of securing a good result this week.

Liam Rosenior will set his side up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make one change to his first XI for this game. Alejandro Garnacho could play from the start of this clash, while Pedro Neto makes way for him and drops to the bench.

Defence

Robert Sanchez will operate in between the sticks for the Blues after he shipped in one goal in his last outing. Trevoh Chalobah will function alongside Benoit Badiashile at the heart of the Chelsea backline as they look to keep things solid at the back throughout the game.

Reece James will hope to prove his worth as the right-back, while Marc Cucurella looks to impress on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Jorrel Hato and Josh Acheampong will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Moises Caicedo and Andrey Santos will operate as the holding midfielders as they look to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park and orchestrate some decent chances in the final third.

The talented trio of Alejandro Garnacho, Enzo Fernandez and Estevao will play just ahead of them as part of Rosenior’s attack. All three of them need to be at their best if the Blues are to come out on top versus Napoli this Wednesday night.

Jamie Gittens and Pedro Neto will have to be content with a place on the bench as they wait for their chance to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Joao Pedro will lead the line for the West London club up top. He has to figure out a way to be a real menace in the final third.

Liam Delap and Marc Guiu will have to settle for a spot on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the latter stages of the game if required.
