Manchester United will entertain Manchester City at Old Trafford this Saturday as they look to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Red Devils suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Brighton and Hove Albion in the FA Cup recently, so they would be eager to return to winning ways in domestic football.
Man United’s new head coach, Michael Carrick, will set his players up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a few changes to his first team for this Manchester derby. Ayden Heaven, Bryan Mbeumo and Casemiro could all play from the start of this contest.
4-2-3-1 Manchester United Predicted Lineup To Face Manchester City
Defence
Senne Lammens will feature in between the sticks for the Red Devils after shipping in a couple of goals in his last outing. Ayden Heaven will function alongside Lisandro Martinez at the centre of the Man United backline as they hope to keep a good shape on the defensive end of the field.
Diogo Dalot will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Luke Shaw hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield
Kobbie Mainoo and Casemiro will anchor the midfield for the Red Devils as they focus on winning the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park.
The gifted trio of Matheus Cunha, Bruno Fernandes and Bryan Mbeumo will play just ahead of them as part of the Man United attack. All three of them will have to combine well if they are to threaten the Man City goal this weekend.
Patrick Dorgu and Mason Mount will have to settle for a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if needed.
Attack
Benjamin Sesko will lead the charge for the Mancunian outfit up top. He has to find a way to be a constant menace in the final third.
Joshua Zirkzee will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages of the derby if needed.
