Putting all the rumours aside, Arturo Vidal has made it clear he is very happy at Bayern Munich and doesn’t want to leave the club.
Vidal had played under Antonio Conte at Juventus and made the move to Munich in 2015. The player who is known for his physical presence and work rate on the pitch had been linked with Chelsea earlier. Conte was very keen to reunite with one of his former players but couldn’t make the move.
Vidal had an excellent relationship with Conte during his stay at Turin. The midfielder is expected to make the starting lineup when Munich host Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League.
He said, “They are only rumours that come about quickly.
Ultimately, I played four very successful years under coach Conte at Juventus [from 2011-2014].
“But there’s no reason for me to leave Bayern. I wear this jersey with pride. I feel good, my wife feels good and the children are happy. And I still have big goals in Munich.”
