Newcastle United will face off against Bayer 04 Leverkusen at the BayArena this Wednesday night as they look to earn a good result on the road in the UEFA Champions League. The Magpies managed to secure a hard-fought 2-1 win over Burnley recently, which should give them a ton of confidence going into this game.
Eddie Howe will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make some tweaks to his first XI for this clash. Joelinton, Sandro Tonali and Lewis Hall could all play from the start of this game.
4-3-3 Newcastle United Predicted Lineup Vs Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Defence
Aaron Ramsdale will operate in between the sticks for the Magpies after conceding one goal in his last appearance. Malick Thiaw will play alongside Fabian Schar at the centre of the Newcastle backline as they look to keep a decent shape when defending inside their half.
Tino Livramento will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Lewis Hall gets the nod to impress on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Dan Burn will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield
Joelinton, Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimaraes will make up Newcastle’s midfield as they hope to make life difficult for the opposition at the centre of the park. All three of them would also have to retain possession well if they want to engineer some clear-cut chances on the counter.
Joe Willock and Lewis Miley will have to be content with a place on the bench as they await their chance to make an impact in the second half if required.
Attack
Anthony Gordon will look to put his pace to good use on the left flank, while Anthony Elanga looks to prove his worth on the right wing.
Nick Woltemade will lead the charge for the Magpies up top. He would be eager to get his name on the scoresheet versus Leverkusen this Wednesday night.
Harvey Barnes and Yoane Wissa will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if needed.
