Palhinha, Xavi And Odobert To Start | 4-2-3-1 Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup Vs Brentford

Tottenham Hotspur will entertain Brentford at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this Saturday as they look to secure a win at home in the Premier League. Spurs were held to a 2-2 draw away at Newcastle United recently, so they would be eager to get back to winning ways this weekend.

Thomas Frank will set his side up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a few changes to his starting XI for this game. Joao Palhinha, Djed Spence and Wilson Odobert could all play from the start of this contest.

Defence

Guglilemo Vicario will function in between the sticks for the North London club after conceding two goals in his last outing. Cristian Romero will play alongside Micky van de Ven at the centre of Tottenham‘s defence as they look to maintain a good shape on the defensive end of the field.

Djed Spence could get a chance to shine as the right-back, while Destiny Udogie hopes to give a good account of himself on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to go forward and express themselves inside the opponent’s half.

Pedro Porro and Kevin Danso will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Joao Palhinha will anchor the midfield along with Rodrigo Bentancur as they look to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park and create some inviting chances going forward.

The gifted trio of Wilson Odobert, Xavi Simons and Mohammed Kudus will play just ahead of them as part of Frank’s attack. All three of them need to combine well if Spurs are to secure maximum points versus the Bees this weekend.

Pape Matar Sarr and Lucas Bergvall will be available for selection on the bench as they await their chance to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Randal Kolo Muani will lead the line for the North London club up top. He has to figure out a way to cause some problems for the opposition centre-backs during the game.

Richarlison will be named on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if needed.
