Cunha To Lead The Line | 3-4-2-1 Manchester United Predicted Lineup Vs West Ham United

Manchester United will welcome West Ham United at Old Trafford this Wednesday night as they look to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Red Devils managed to earn an impressive 2-1 win away at Crystal Palace recently, which should give them a ton of confidence ahead of this game.

Ruben Amorim will set his players up in a 3-4-2-1 formation and is expected to make one change to his first team for this clash. Matheus Cunha might get the opportunity to lead the line for the Mancunian giants up top, while Joshua Zirkzee makes way for him and drops to the bench.

Lisandro Martinez and Ayden Heaven will offer cover for the centre-back positions on the bench.

Midfield

Bruno Fernandes will anchor the midfield along with Casemiro as they look to win the 50-50 battles in the middle of the park. Amad Diallo will try to impress on the right flank, while Diogo Dalot looks to prove his worth as the left-sided wide player. Both of them will have to make some overlapping runs out in the wide areas.

Both Mason Mount and Bryan Mbeumo will play as the attacking midfielders. Their main focus would be to carry most of the creative workload for the Red Devils in the opponent’s half.

Kobbie Mainoo and Manuel Ugarte will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Matheus Cunha will spearhead Man United‘s attack up top. He is a slight concern ahead of this game as he continues to recover from a head injury.

Joshua Zirkzee will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to shine in the final quarter of the match if the Red Devils are in need of a goal by then.
