Manchester City entertained Leeds United at the Etihad Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Mancunian giants made a good start to the game and got their noses ahead in the first minute when Phil Foden found the back of the net. Josko Gvardiol doubled his team’s advantage in the 25th minute as Pep Guardiola’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin got a goal back for Leeds in the 49th minute before Lukas Nmecha equalised for the visitors in the 68th minute from the penalty spot. However, Foden scored the winner for Man City in injury time as the Mancunian giants ended up securing a hard-fought 3-2 win at the Etihad.
