Madueke, Hincapie And Calafiori To Start | 4-3-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup Vs Chelsea

Arsenal will lock horns with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday as they hope to secure a positive result on the road in the Premier League. The Gunners managed to secure an impressive 3-1 win over Bayern Munich recently, which should give them a ton of confidence ahead of this game.

Mikel Arteta will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make some tweaks to his first XI for this London derby. Noni Madueke, Piero Hincapie and Riccardo Calafiori could all play from the start of this game.

4-3-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup To Face Chelsea

Defence

David Raya will function in between the sticks for the Gunners after he conceded one goal in his last appearance. Piero Hincapie will operate alongside William Saliba at the centre of the Arsenal backline as they look to keep the Chelsea attackers frustrated throughout the game.

Jurrien Timber will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Riccardo Calafiori hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Cristhian Mosquera will offer cover for the centre-back positions on the bench.

Midfield

Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi and Eberechi Eze will make up Arteta’s midfield as they look to establish their dominance over the opposition at the centre of the park. They would have to carry most of the creative workload for the Gunners in the opponent’s half.

Martin Odegaard will have to settle for a place on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Noni Madueke will hope to put his pace to good use on the left flank, while Bukayo Saka tries to weave his magic from the right flank.

Mikel Merino will spearhead Arteta’s attack down the middle. He would be eager to keep a good form going by putting in another impressive showing in this London derby.

Leandro Trossard is a major doubt for this clash. However, Gabriel Martinelli will be available for selection on the bench as he waits for his opportunity to impress in the latter stages of the game if needed.
