Smit’s Impressive Form In The Dutch Eredivisie
Smit has caught the eye at times with his performances at the heart of Alkmaar’s midfield this season. The 19-year-old has registered two goals and earned four assists in 19 matches for the Dutch outfit in this campaign so far in all competitions.
The talented midfielder has managed to shine at times in the Dutch Eredivisie and is currently among the best young talents in Dutch football. Therefore, Man United would do well to lure him to Old Trafford next year.
His current contract at Alkmaar will run out in the summer of 2028. Hence, Man United would find it difficult to get a deal done for the Dutch sensation next year.
