Chelsea faced off against Qarabag at the Azersun Arena earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the UEFA Champions League. The Blues made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 16th minute when Estevao found the back of the net. However, the home team equalised in the 29th minute thanks to Leandro Andrade’s effort. Marko Jankovic completed the turnaround for Qarabag from the penalty spot just ten minutes later as Chelsea went into the half-time break 2-1 down on the scoreline.
Alejandro Garnacho equalised for the Blues in the 53rd minute as Enzo Maresca’s men ended up earning a hard-fought 2-2 draw away from home.
