Rice Gets 9, Gabriel With 8 | Arsenal Players Rated In Solid Win Vs Burnley

Arsenal locked horns with Burnley at Turf Moor earlier today as they looked to secure all three points on their travels in the Premier League. The Gunners made a quick start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 14th minute thanks to Viktor Gyokeres’ effort. Declan Rice doubled his team’s advantage in the 35th minute as Mikel Arteta’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 to the good.

The North London club defended their lead well in the second 45 minutes and secured a solid 2-0 win away from home.

GK: David Raya – 6.5/10

Raya made one solid save at the back and earned an important clean sheet this afternoon.

RB: Jurrien Timber – 6.5/10

He performed his defensive duties well but offered very little going forward.

CB: William Saliba – 7/10

Saliba put his foot through the ball when needed and did enough to keep a clean sheet.

CB: Gabriel – 8/10

He cleared the danger when he could and was a good presence on the ball. Gabriel has got an assist to show for his efforts.

LB: Riccardo Calafiori – 7/10

Calafiori performed his defensive duties well and was a threat going forward.

CM: Eberechi Eze – 6.5/10

He struggled to get a foothold in the game and was replaced in the 71st minute.

CM: Martin Zubimendi – 7/10

Zubimendi anchored the midfield with conviction but offered very little going forward.

CM: Declan Rice – 9/10

He was a positive influence at both ends of the field and did well to score in the 35th minute.

RW: Bukayo Saka – 6.5/10

Saka caused some headaches for his marker but didn’t do enough to register a goal.

ST: Viktor Gyokeres – 7.5/10

He was a real handful for the opposition defenders and scored the opener in the 14th minute.

LW: Leandro Trossard – 7.5/10

Trossard was a constant menace in the final third and secured an assist for setting up Rice’s goal.
