Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp has insisted that he is here for a long time. Liverpool are currently without a Premier League win in 2017.
The Reds have fallen back to fifth place after their defeat to Hull City in the last match and are four points adrift of Tottenham Hotspur. Their chances of winning the Premier League are bleak but Klopp must push his players to deliver at this crunch time.
They have managed just three points from a possible 15 and will face Spurs in a crucial encounter tonight.
Klopp said, “We are still convinced that this is a long-term project.
“The players learn but it’s my job to bring them into the right situation.
“I don’t question everything [after a defeat]. Everything is easier when you win a game but the jobs is still the same to do [no matter the result].
“My job is never easy but it’s always easy to enjoy.
“It’s football, every situation is a challenge. If you are in a good place you have to stay there, if you are not you have to solve problems immediately.
“You always have to win the next game. The next game is Tottenham.”
