Liverpool are planning a shock move for Leicester City winger Demarai Gray. Gray joined the defending champions from Birmingham City for a fee of £3.75m.
Liverpool’s title challenge is almost over and Jürgen Klopp has already started chalking plans for next season. With Adam Lallana committing his future with the Reds, Klopp’s priority is now to sign two wingers.
20-year-old Gray has only made five League starts this season. The England U21 international has all the ingredients that the Reds boss has been searching. His brilliant skills, pace and superb control of the ball would be a boost to any club he joins. He scored a superb solo goal as Leicester defeated Derby County 3-1 to progress to the fifth round of the FA Cup.
The absence of Sadio Mane has exposed the vulnerability of Liverpool attack and Klopp wants to add required reinforcements in the summer to strengthen his squad.
