Newcastle United clashed heads with Brighton and Hove Albion at the American Express Community Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result away from home in the Premier League. The Magpies made a good start to the game but conceded the opening goal in the 41st minute when Danny Welbeck found the back of the net. Eddie Howe’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.
Nick Woltemade equalised for the Magpies in the 76th minute, but Welbeck ended up scoring again in the 84th minute as Newcastle crashed to a tough 2-1 loss away from home.
