Arsene Wenger has urged the supporters to be with their team in this tough time. With back to back defeats, Arsenal are currently struggling in the Premier League.
The Gunners are currently in the fourth position with 47 points, one point clear of Liverpool. Unless some miracle happens, Wenger’s side are going to miss out on the Premier League title once again.
A section of supporters have been showing their discontent by putting banners asking Wenger to leave. Wenger’s contract is scheduled to expire at the end of the season and he might not be offered a new contract.
Arsenal are now 12 points behind League leaders Chelsea and will be looking forward to restoring their pride when they host Hull City.
He said, “You cannot be a fan until last Tuesday and not be a fan anymore and not be behind the team this Saturday, it doesn’t make sense.
“All the other clubs, everywhere we fight — with Man United, Man City, Liverpool — they have big expectations as well and big histories.
“We are in a fight there, we absolutely have to be united or we have no chance to do it. You have Tottenham, everyone is in the fight and everyone is behind their team. We have to do exactly the same, even if we had two disappointing results.”
