Arsenal set to revive their interest in Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema. The Spanish Giants are ready to cash in on the player.
Arsene Wenger has been a long-term admirer of the French player and has tried several times in the past to entice the player. Benzema has been finding it hard to get his form back and was booed off the pitch by the demanding Madrid supporters.
Things are not going well with Arsenal as they suffered back to back defeats against Watford and Chelsea. With no significant signings in January, Wenger could do some business in the summer (if he stays on at the club, that is). The Gunners needs to splash at least £50m to secure his services.
The French forward hasn’t scored in the last five matches and would love to try his hand in a different league. The player has a contract till 2019 and it is the best time for him to consider his future as he is still pretty much in his prime.
