Chelsea signed ten new players in this summer transfer window. The Blues managed to bring in Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens, Alejandro Garnacho, Jorrel Hato, Liam Delap, Estevao, Dario Essugo, Mamadou Sarr, Kendry Paez and Facundo Buonanotte this summer.
Chelsea’s Major Summer Arrivals
Joao Pedro
Joao Pedro joined Chelsea from Brighton and Hove Albion in a €63.70m deal earlier this year. He has already made a positive start to his career at the West London club after scoring five goals and grabbing two assists in six appearances for them across all competitions.
Jamie Gittens
Gittens arrived from Borussia Dortmund for €56m this summer. He is expected to play a useful role in Enzo Maresca’s match-day squad throughout this campaign.
Alejandro Garnacho
Garnacho signed from Manchester United in a move worth €46.20m. The Argentine talent will be expected to push for a first-team spot at Stamford Bridge after this international break.

Jorell Hato
The Blues paid €44.18m to sign Jorell Hato from Ajax this off-season. The 19-year-old is still quite inexperienced at the highest level and would need time to settle into life in the Premier League.
Still, he could prove to be a great signing in the long run.
Liam Delap
Liam Delap arrived from Ipswich Town in a €35.50m deal this summer. However, he is currently sidelined due to injury, so the jury is out on whether he would have a fruitful season at Chelsea.
Estevao
The London giants paid €34m to land Estevao in the recently concluded summer transfer window. He has already shown glimpses of his true potential and is expected to have a breakout year at Chelsea.
Has It Been A Great Summer For Chelsea Head Coach Enzo Maresca?
Maresca has done well to sign so many new players this summer. However, there are some concerns over whether he can use them well enough to sustain a title charge in the Premier League this season.
Still, the Blues have got enough reasons to be confident about having a successful campaign as long as they can steer clear of injuries. The signings of Jamie Gittens, Estevao, Liam Delap, Jorell Hato, Kendry Paez, Mamadou Sarr and Alejandro Garnacho prove that Chelsea are looking to build for the future.
