Arsenal clashed heads with Liverpool at Anfield earlier this evening as they focused on grinding out a win on the road in the Premier League. The Gunners made a solid start to the contest and managed to get to the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.
Mikel Arteta’s men ended up conceding the opener in the 83rd minute when Dominik Szoboszlai scored with a wonderful free-kick. The match finished with Arsenal suffering a tough 1-0 defeat at Merseyside.

Zubimendi earned possession back once but struggled to get a foothold in the game.

The England international was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch. He offered decent protection for his teammates at the back and had a couple of bright moments going forward.

He got himself into some dangerous areas in the final third but lacked composure in front of goal.

Gyokeres made two inviting chances for his teammates but failed to threaten the Liverpool goal.

Martinelli struggled to impress in the opponent’s half and was replaced in the 69th minute.
