West Ham United reportedly have approached Liverpool for the service of Daniel Sturridge on the deadline day. Sturridge hasn’t really featured regularly for the Reds this season.
West Ham United have been linked with Brentford striker Scott Hogan but boss Slaven Bilic has confirmed that they have backed out from that deal.
Sturridge who has been very injury prone for the past few years has appeared 20 times for the Reds this season.
Although Jurgen Klopp has already made it clear that the English forward is not for sale but with Liverpool out of the EFL Cup and FA Cup, Klopp might reconsider his decision.
Also, the arrival of Sadio Mane from AFCON could have ramifications for this deal.
The Hammers have the likes of Andy Carroll, Andre Ayew and Diafra Sakho but wants to strengthen their attack. Dimitri Payet recently made a move to Marseille and Bilic wants to fill the void with the 27-year-old.
