Manchester United might make a last ditch attempt to persuade Seamus Coleman from Everton.
The Republic of Ireland international has been a regular for Everton since arriving at Goodison Park in 2009. The side back has made the right side of his own and will be making his 200th appearances when Everton take on Stoke City.
The 28-year-old was the subject of interest when Former United manager David Moyes was at the helm of the club. Moyes, who spent a long period at the Merseyside club, had tried to bring the defender to Old Trafford.
United first choice right-back Antonio Valencia is currently going through the best form of his life. The Ecuadorian full-back has recently signed a new contract and is expected to continue his form.
However Coleman has denied any links with the Red Devils, “It is that time of year.
“I haven’t heard about the story (another one in England linking him with Manchester United) but I am preparing for a game on Wednesday and that is all I am concentrating on.”
