Chelsea continued their emphatic winning run with a resounding 4-0 win over Brentford and with Liverpool losing miserably 1-2 against Wolverhampton Wanderers, the midweek tie between the two Premier League heavyweights is now majorly tilted towards the Blues. Goals from Willian, Pedro, Branislav Ivanovic and Michy Batshuayi earned the Blues bragging rights in this west London derby.

BEGOVIC- 7/10
Not under a whole lot of pressure but was alert whenever called upon. Did his chances of moving to another club no harm.
AZPILICUETA- 7/10
Solid display from the Spaniard. Did not come under a whole lot of pressure but was up to the task at vital moments.
TERRY- 7/10
A comfortable display from the captain. He looked at ease and although he was helped by the quality of the opposition, will be an important figure in latter stages of the season.
ZOUMA- 7/10
Looked determined to make an impression and since he was making just his 2nd appearance of the season, the reason was understandable. Had an impact at both ends of the pitch.
LOFTUS-CHEEK- 7.5/10
An excellent display from the youngster. Was all over Brentford with his running and trickery. But the end product was missing as he failed to get the much-deserved goal.
CHALOBAH- 6/10
Watching Kante day in, day out is helping him and he tried to replicate that approach although he was not as successful. Needs to be stronger in challenges. Heartening display nonetheless.
FABREGAS- 8/10
A classy display from the Spaniard in the mould of what we are used to seeing from him. Put the ball wherever he wanted although the quality of the opposition was not anywhere near the level to nullify him.
AKE- 7/10
Made his first Chelsea appearance in over 2 years. Was energetic and eager to get on the ball. Linked up well with Loftus-Cheek and looked comfortable in the Chelsea shirt. Has a promising future ahead of him.
PEDRO- 9/10
Perhaps his best display in a Chelsea shirt. Always available in the final third. Scored after a beautiful run and finish. Assisted Ivanovic’s goal. Deservedly got a standing ovation.
BATSUAYI- 7.5/10
Worked hard up top. And tried to make the rare opportunity count. Got a goal from the penalty spot and assisted Pedro with a peach of a through ball.
WILLIAN- 7.5/10
Excellent free-kick to open proceedings. Good interplay with his teammates.
