According to Fichajes, Barcelona are keen on signing Manchester City attacker Jeremy Doku next summer. However, the Spanish club understand the difficulty of convincing the Premier League club to sell their left winger.
Jeremy Doku changes the course of the game
Jeremy Doku joined Manchester City from Rennes in the summer of 2023. In a short time, he managed to impress everyone and win the faith of his manager. He remains a key performer for Pep Guardiola’s side and is considered one of the best wingers in the Premier League.

Doku has been able to score six goals and provide seven assists in 23 games this season despite not starting regularly. He is averaging 1.2 shots, 1.5 key passes, and 2.9 dribbles per game (stats via whoscored).
The Belgian winger is versatile enough to play on either wing. He has an electrifying pace, effective dribbling abilities, and strong finishing skills. He works hard off the ball and manages to create goal-scoring chances in every game.
Manchester City might not entertain such offers
Though Barcelona are doing exceptionally well in scoring goals, he still needs more depth in their attacking unit. They wanted to sign Nico Williams for the left flank role but the player decided to stay at Athletic Club for another season.
With the improvement in the Spanish club’s financial situation, it’s evident that they might go big next summer. Hence, the reports have emerged linking them to Jeremy Doku. The Belgian winger is explosive with his skills and can add a lot of value to Hansi Flick’s side.
Doku will surely strengthen the left side of the pitch, where Raphinha plays despite being a left-footed player. However, signing him won’t be an easy task considering the fact that the 22-year-old is an important member of Manchester City’s squad. To get his signature, Barcelona will have to produce a great deal and a winning sporting project.
