After a heart-breaking 5-1 defeat at the hands of Arsenal, Manchester City bounced back this week. They registered a 2-1 win against Leyton Orient in the 4th round of the FA Cup.
This win not only takes them to the next stage in the competition but also gives them the much-needed confidence boost ahead of their clash against Real Madrid in the knock-out stage of the UEFA Champions League.
Without any further ado, let’s take a look at the individual performances of Manchester City players:

Stefan Ortega (6/10): He shouldn’t be blamed for the only goal he conceded but could’ve done a bit better.
Rico Lewis (7/10): Looked solid while going higher on the pitch but lacked solidity in the backline.
Vitor Reis (4/10): A poor display and was taken off at half-time rightly.
Ruben Dias (5/10): Struggled to keep things tight at the backline and needs to get back into his form immediately.
Nico O’Reilly (5/10): Failed to utilize the opportunity as better performance was expected from his end.
Ilkay Gundogan (6/10): Though the veteran did enough in the middle of the park, he missed a sitter which isn’t a normal thing.
Nico Gonzalez (4/10): Struggled badly to keep up with the pace of the game and has injured himself too.
James McAtee (5/10): Though the player improved in the second half after a dismal first 45 minutes, it wasn’t enough for Pep Guardiola to keep him on the pitch.
Savinho (6/10): Again a few exciting runs and chances created on the offensive front.
Omar Marmoush (5/10): Should’ve done better in this fixture as people expect a lot more from a player of his quality.
Jack Grealish (8/10): Contributed to both goals of the Citizens and showed why he is still a valuable player in the squad.
