Manchester United are set for a huge boost as Eric Bailly is returning from his duty at AFCON. Ivory Cost have been knocked out from the tournament after crushing to a 1-0 defeat against Morocco.
It would be a boon in disguise for Jose Mourinho who has a very tough fixture ahead. The 22-year-old hasn’t featured for the Red Devils since the Middlesbrough match but now will be in contention for a place in the starting lineup.
Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo have done an excellent job in the heart of Manchester United defence. Rojo is coming back from an injury and is expected to get his place back in the starting eleven.
United have a couple of crucial fixtures as they will face Hull City on Thursday in the EFL Cup. They will then host Wigan in the FA Cup on 29th January followed by a Premier League game against Hull City, again.
