Carlo Ancelotti will opt for the 3-4-2-1 formation and is expected to some tweaks to his first team for this clash. Both Rodrygo and Ferland Mendy could get a chance to impress from the start of this game.
3-4-2-1 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup To Face Borussia Dortmund
Defence
Thibaut Courtois will function in goal for Real Madrid after conceding one goal in his most recent appearance. Ancelotti could once again go with a back three of Antonio Rudiger, Aurelien Tchouameni and Eder Militao as they look to keep the opposition at bay during the 90 minutes.
Jesus Vallejo will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench. However, Dani Carvajal and David Alaba remain sidelined for Los Blancos due to injuries.
Midfield
Jude Bellingham and Federico Valverde will operate as the holding midfielders for Real Madrid as they focus on retaining possession well in the middle of the park. Ferland Mendy could fill in as the left wing-back while Lucas Vazquez hopes to catch the eye on the right flank.

Kylian Mbappe will spearhead Real Madrid’s attack up top. The French striker managed to score against Celta Vigo which should give him a ton of confidence ahead of this midweek clash at the Bernabeu.
Endrick will be available for selection on the bench as he waits for his chance to influence the game in the final quarter if Los Blancos are in need of a goal by then. However, Brahim Diaz will once again miss this game because of injury.
