According to InterLive, Liverpool are eyeing Bologna winger Dan Ndoye as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah. The Premier League club are even ready to submit an official bid to sign the youngster in the upcoming transfer windows.
Who is Dan Ndoye?
Bologna signed Dan Ndoye from Basel last summer after being impressed by his rising status. After the purchase, he was immediately integrated into the senior team. Fair to say that the player grabbed the opportunities well to establish himself.
Ndoye had three goals and five assists to his name in 38 games last season. He averaged 1.3 shots. 0.7 key passes, and 1.1 dribbles per game (stats via whoscored).
The Swiss attacker is versatile enough to play in the midfield or operate on both wings. He is known for his pace, behind runs, and incredible vision on the field. However, he needs to improve his finishing and ball-holding abilities.
Who is Dan Ndoye?
Liverpool are hoping to extend Mohamed Salah‘s contract beyond this season as he is breathing fire in the Premier League. He continues his red-hot form, proving that age is just a number for him and he is still fit enough to contribute immensely.
Irrespective of whether the Egyptian stays or not, the Reds will have to bring someone to take care of the right-wing in the long run. One of the names that they have identified is Dan Dyoye, whose improvement has been notable.
Though the 23-year-old has high qualities, it’s still unclear whether he can be the apt person to fill the big shoes or not. As things stand, the youngster has a lot of areas to improve if he wants to build a long-term career at a top-tier club like Liverpool. Not sure if he can take Salah’s position or not, but he can be a good addition overall.
