Arsenal entertained Southampton at the Emirates Stadium earlier today as they looked to secure a positive result at home in the Premier League. The Gunners made a solid start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
Mikel Arteta‘s men made a slow start to the second half and conceded the opening goal in the 55th minute when Cameron Archer found the back of the net. However, Kai Havertz equalised for the Gunners just three minutes later before Gabriel Martinelli completed the turnaround when he scored in the 68th minute. Bukayo Saka killed the game off in the 88th minute as Arsenal ended up securing an impressive 3-1 victory in front of their home fans.

Saka caused all sorts of headaches for the opposition defenders and has got one goal and two assists to his name.

The Italian talent struggled to get a foothold in the game and was replaced at the hour mark.
CM: Declan Rice – 7/10
He was a positive influence at both ends of the field.
LW: Raheem Sterling – 6.5/10
Sterling caught the eye at times but failed to register a goal.
ST: Kai Havertz – 8/10
He was a constant menace in the final third and did well to score the equaliser in the 58th minute.
ST: Gabriel Jesus – 6.5/10
Jesus caused some headaches for the opposition defenders but failed to get his name on the scoresheet.
