Manchester City will welcome Fulham at the Etihad Stadium this Saturday as they look to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Mancunian club secured a dominant 4-0 win over Slovan Bratislava in midweek, so they would be full of confidence ahead of this game.
Pep Guardiola will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make some changes to his first team for this clash. Ederson, Bernardo Silva and Jack Grealish could all play from the start of this game.
4-3-3 Manchester City Predicted Lineup To Face Fulham
Defence
Ederson will be named in between the sticks for Man City after he was rested in midweek. Manuel Akanji will play alongside Ruben Dias at the heart of Guardiola’s defence as they look to keep the opposition attackers frustrated throughout the game.
Rico Lewis will have to catch the eye as the right-back while Josko Gvardiol hopes to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to get forward and join in on the attack at every chance they get.
John Stones will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Guardiola will opt for the midfield three of Ilkay Gundogan, Mateo Kovacic and Phil Foden as they focus on dominating the game in the middle of the park and creating some decent chances in the final third.
James McAtee and Matheus Nunes will have to settle for a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if Guardiola opts to call upon their services.
Attack
Jack Grealish will get a chance to prove his worth on the left wing while Bernardo Silva looks to catch the eye as the right-sided wide player. Erling Haaland will spearhead Man City’s attack up top. He would be eager to get his good form going by finding the back of the net at the Etihad Stadium this weekend.
Jeremy Doku and Savio will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter if Man City are in need of a goal by then.
