Jota And Gakpo To Start | 4-3-3 Liverpool Predicted Lineup Vs Crystal Palace

Liverpool will face off against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this Saturday afternoon as they look to secure a positive result on the road in the Premier League. The Reds managed to secure an impressive 2-0 win over Bologna recently which should keep them in good spirits ahead of this game.

Arne Slot will opt for the 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make some changes to his first team. Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota could play from the start of this contest while Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz drop to the bench.

Defence

Alisson Becker will feature in between the sticks for the Merseyside club after keeping a clean sheet in his last outing. Virgil Van Dijk will function alongside Ibrahima Konate at the heart of Slot’s defence as they try to keep the Palace attackers quiet during the game.

Trent Alexander-Arnold will continue to operate as the right-back while Andy Robertson hopes to catch the eye on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to get forward and express themselves in the opponent’s half.

Joe Gomez will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch and Dominic Szoboszlai will make up Liverpool’s midfield as they focus on winning the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park. All three of them need to move the ball well if they want to create enough chances for the Reds to win this contest at Selhurst Park.

Curtis Jones and Wataru Endo will be available for selection on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second half if needed.

Attack

Cody Gakpo will hope to give a good account of himself on the left flank while Mohamed Salah looks to weave his magic from the right flank. Diogo Jota will lead the charge for the Merseyside club down the middle. He has to find a way to be a constant menace in the final third.

Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz will have to settle for a spot on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if Liverpool are in need of a goal by then.
