Arsenal entertained Paris Saint-Germain at the Emirates Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a win at home in the UEFA Champions League. The Gunners made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 20th minute thanks to Kai Havertz’s effort. Bukayo Saka doubled his team’s lead just 15 minutes later as Mikel Arteta’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.
The North London club sat on their lead well in the second half and earned a solid 2-0 victory in front of their home fans.

Raya made a couple of decent saves at the back and earned an important clean sheet tonight.

Saliba got stuck in with some solid tackles and was accurate with his ball distribution.

The Brazilian defender cleared the danger when he could and won a couple of aerial duels as well. He would be quite pleased with the clean sheet.

He gave a good account of himself on the defensive third of the pitch and made one decent chance going forward.

Saka caused a lot of problems for the opposition defenders and managed to double Arsenal’s advantage in the 35th minute.
CM: Thomas Partey – 7/10
He anchored the midfield with conviction and was replaced after the hour mark.
CM: Declan Rice – 7/10
Rice did his fair share of defending and made one encouraging run with the ball.
LM: Gabriel Martinelli – 7/10
Martinelli caused some headaches for the PSG defenders but there was no goal for him.
ST: Kai Havertz – 8/10
He was a constant menace in the final third and did well to score the opening goal in the 20th minute.
ST: Leandro Trossard – 7.5/10
Trossard completed a couple of dribbles and ended the game with an assist to his name.
