Newcastle United entertained Wimbledon at St. James’ Park earlier tonight as they focused on securing a good result at home in the Premier League. The Magpies made a decent start to the game and managed to score the opening goal in the first half injury-time thanks to Fabian Schar’s penalty. Eddie Howe’s players went into the half-time break 1-0 to the good.
