Aston Villa faced off against Ipswich Town at Portman Road earlier today as they hoped to secure all three points on the road in the Premier League. The Villans made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the eighth minute when Liam Delap found the back of the net. However, Morgan Rogers equalised for the West Midlands club just seven minutes later before Ollie Watkins completed the turnaround when he scored in the 32nd minute. Unai Emery’s men went into the half-time break 2-1 up on the scoreline.
Liam Delap scored again for Ipswich in the 72nd minute as the Villans had to settle for a lackluster 2-2 draw away from home.

Tielemans caught the eye at times on both halves and was replaced in the 83rd minute.

He was a frustrated figure for most of the game but did well to pick up an assist.

Rogers equalised for the Villans with a good finish in the 15th minute.

He managed to shine at times on the left flank but there was no goal for him.
