In a recent report, Fichajes claimed that Real Madrid are facing stiff competition for Boca Juniors wide player Kevin Zenon. It is understood that Los Blancos would have to rival Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur in pursuit of the Argentine talent next year.
Zenon’s Impressive Rise In Argentine Football
The 23-year-old enjoyed a decent campaign at the Argentine club as he put in a handful of impressive displays from the left side of their midfield. Zenon banged in four goals and grabbed seven assists in 35 matches for Boca Juniors last season across all fronts.
The Argentine talent has caught the eye with his performances for Boca Juniors but has still not proven himself at the highest level. Hence, he would be a risky option for Real Madrid to consider next year.
His current deal at Boca Juniors will expire at the end of 2028 which could make it difficult for Los Blancos to sign him on the cheap in the near future.
Real Madrid Are Facing Tough Competition For Zenon: Is He Worth The Fight?
Zenon is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make some driving runs with the ball on the left flank. He can strike the ball with venom from long range and has got the eye to play a few decisive passes in the final third.
The Argentine talent did well to contribute by scoring and creating his fair share of goals. He is primarily a left-sided wide player but can also serve as a left-back if told to do so by his manager. However, the talented wide player would need some time to adjust to life at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium if Los Blancos manage to recruit him.
Zenon would no doubt add more quality and depth to Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti’s match-day squad. He is good enough to fight for a regular starting spot at the Madrid club in the coming years.
At 23, the future looks quite bright for Zenon as long as he continues to improve with each year. He would be well worth the fight, so Los Blancos should focus on getting a deal done for him next year.
