Arsenal entertained Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium earlier today as they focused on securing a victory at home in the Premier League. The Gunners made a decent start to the contest and scored the opener in the 20th minute thanks to Gabriel Martinelli’s effort. Leandro Trossard doubled his team’s advantage in the first half injury-time as Mikel Arteta‘s men went into the half-time interval 2-0 up on the scoreline.
James Justin got a goal back for Leicester just after the restart before going on to score the equaliser with a great strike in the 63rd minute. However, the Gunners went in front once again in injury-time when Wilfred Ndidi scored an unfortunate own goal. Kai Havertz added another goal in the dying embers of the game as Arsenal secured a hard-fought 4-2 win at the Emirates.
