Tottenham Hotspur entertained Brentford at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier today as they hoped to earn a good result at home in the Premier League. Spurs made a slow start to the game as they conceded the opener in the first minute when Bryan Mbuemo scored with a great finish. However, the North London club equalised in the eighth minute via Dominic Solanke’s tap-in from close range. Brennan Johnson completed the turnaround for Tottenham as he got his name on the scoresheet with a good finish in the 28th minute. Ange Postecoglu’s men went into the half-time break 2-1 up on the scoreline.
James Maddison killed the game off in the 85th minute as Tottenham earned a hard-fought 3-1 win in front of their home fans.
