Liverpool will entertain Bournemouth at Anfield this Saturday afternoon as they focus on securing a good result at home in the Premier League. The Reds managed to secure an impressive 3-1 win away at AC Milan recently which should keep them in good spirits ahead of this game.
Arne Slot will opt for the 4-2-3-1 formation once again and could make a couple of tweaks to his first XI for this clash. Luis Diaz and Andy Robertson are both expected to play from the start of this game.
4-2-3-1 Liverpool Predicted Lineup To Face Bournemouth
Defence
Alisson Becker will operate in between the sticks for the Reds after he conceded a goal in his last outing. Ibrahima Konate will resume his defensive partnership with Virgil Van Dijk at the centre of Slot’s defence as they try to keep the opposition at bay during the game.
Trent Alexander-Arnold will continue to play as the right-back while Andy Robertson hopes to catch the eye on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to get forward and express themselves in the Bournemouth half.
Joe Gomez will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch will once again anchor the midfield for the Merseyside club as they look to establish their superiority over the opposition at the centre of the park.
The gifted trio of Luis Diaz, Dominik Szoboszlai and Mohamed Salah will play just ahead of them as part of Liverpool’s attack. All three of them need to be clinical in the final third if the Reds are to earn a convincing win this weekend.
Curtis Jones and Cody Gakpo will be available for selection on the bench as they await their chance to make an impact in the second half if needed.
Attack
Diogo Jota will lead the charge for the Merseyside giants up top. He failed to register a goal against AC Milan and would be desperate to get his name on the scoresheet at Anfield this Saturday.
Darwin Nunez will be named on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the final quarter of the match if required.
